Laurent Koscielny has been called into the France squad for the first time, ending any chance he had of representing Poland. The gunners man, originally from Tulle, France, is eligible to play forLes Blues side when Laurent Blanc announcing his squad for next friendly fixtures with Brazil at the Stade de France including Laurent Koscielny and Manchester United defender Patrice Evra was not selected by national team boss Laurent Blanc in his 23-man squad for the upcoming game.
Evra is eligible for selection after serving a five-match ban for his part in the revolt in France’s World Cup squad in South Africa last year. Koscielny is one of four Arsenal players in the squad, joining fellow defenders Bacary Sagna and Gael Clichy and midfielder Abou Diaby.
